The President's Hotline

It is truly an honor to serve as your new President for the next year. The new Board of Directors met for the first time on June 8th and we welcomed our newest Board member, Head Elder Alan Cranford. The positions of President-Elect and Stewardship remain unfilled so please continue to consider serving in these important offices. I have served on the Board in 3 offices in the last few years and I can assure you the experience is challenging, rewarding and it has been a blessing.

The next few months will be busy ones here at Grace. Upcoming events include:

Continuation of the Constitution process
Meeting regarding the upcoming Synodical Convention at Cross of Life Lutheran Church in Antioch, TN on July 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
Commissioning of youth who are attending the National LCMS Youth Gathering will be held on July 11th at the 10:45 a.m. service
National LCMS Youth Gathering in New Orleans, LA July 17-21
Mission Insite Evangelism meeting at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Nashville, TN on August 22nd
We-Haul at MTSU August 27-28
Rally Day August 29th
Church Membership Directory - pictures will be taken September 8-11
Pastor and Al Thoe attend the SMP orientation at Concordia Theological Seminary Ft. Wayne, IN September 27th through October 1st
Circuit meeting with President Lampe at Grace on Monday, October 4th at 5:00 p.m., supper included, and the laity are invited
Mid-South District All Professional Church Workers Conference October 18-20, Memphis, TN
Grace 50th Anniversary Celebration
