Every month I write this wonderful informative news article. As your president, I wonder what I should address in my monthly letters. I really enjoy and expect it’s my job to highlight the hard work your BOD is doing for you, the accomplishments and events they organize and oversee, but you can see most of that information by reading the Graceline. So, though I may not personally update you, suffice to say, they are doing an excellent job! I’d also like to bring to your attention upcoming BOD elections in May. The following positions need to be filled: President, President-elect, Elders, Trustee, Evangelism, Stewardship, Fellowship, and Children’s Ministry. Please consider these positions and how you or someone you know may be well suited to fill them.
I recently heard on radio that January has the lowest average temperature in Tennessee. In February, the days are getting longer and hopefully warmer! Didn’t we just celebrate Christmas? Celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? YES! But spring is coming! I’m sure we’re all looking forward to it, and to Easter! April 8th is Easter Sunday the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. We begin the Lenten season with Ash Wednesday on the 22nd of February. So remember, as we slog through snow drifts, walking to and from work, uphill, both ways, spring is coming! Our Savior is coming!Blessings in January and throughout 2012,
