Well things are already busy for 2010. As you know the budget was approved in December for a final total approved expense of $303,923.50. The same Voters’ Assembly also established a Specific Ministry Program fund which has already received over $6,000.00 in donations to offset the costs for Deacon Al Thoe to enter this program. Thanks to all that have supported this program and continue to support all of our ministries at Grace. Please continue to reach out to those in our community and in our congregation as we live our daily lives in Christ during this brand new year in Him!
Summary from the January BOD Meeting:
- Welcome two new members: Tim Star and Daniel Stein.
- Please plan to attend the Voters Assembly and Year End Review meeting on Sunday, 21 February to be held in the fellowship hall during the Sunday school hour. Also, we are looking to hold a Grace Constitution meeting in mid-March; the date is not finalized yet.
- The playground work is dormant for the winter, but we will continue to make progress when the weather allows. Please remember the equipment that is installed is not open or safe to use at this time.
Let’s keep one another in prayer, extend encouragement and also remember our mission statement: “Bringing People to Christ by Bringing Christ to People”. See you in church!!
