The Programs for the Women of Grace

Women of Grace
Women of Grace meets during the school year on the second Monday of each month at 10 a.m. Membership dues are $15.00 each year which includes zone and district LWML dues and the subscription to the quarterly magazine. Our motto is "Serve the Lord with gladness" from Psalm 100:2.

We serve in mission work locally and through the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML).

The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), with a membership of over 250,000, is the official women's auxiliary of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The LWML focuses on affirming each woman in her relationship with Christ to enable her to be in ministry among the people of the world. For over 65 years the LWML has been encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to financially support global mission.

Mission projects include:

Our mites fund national and international service projects.
Quilts and health kits are given to Lutheran World Relief.
Campbell's labels help with the work at Bethesda Lutheran Home.
Small toiletry supplies for the Nashville Rescue Mission.
Baby quilts for the Pregnancy Support Center and Alive Hospice here in Murfreesboro.

We assist here at Grace:

Care of the altar, communion and baptism needs.
Banners and Christmas decorations.
Maintaining the supplies in the kitchen.

We offer Christian growth to our members:

Devotions at meetings
Subscription to the Lutheran Women's Quarterly Magazine.

We work with Human Care to provide:

Food baskets and clothing needs.
Christmas gifts for needy families.
Meal assistance in times of illness, death, new baby.

Our next brunch and meeting takes place on September 13th in the fellowship hall. All communicant female members of Grace Lutheran Church are invited to join us.
